Style’s manufacturing partner, Dorma Huppe, has launched an innovative new solution to provide flexible training facilities for emergency services, security and rescue teams.
Its moveable walls are used to create flexible room configurations which are arranged to realistically portray a wide range of simulations – from urban scenarios to complex rescue operations.
Michael Porter, Style’s group managing director, said, “As the exclusive UK partner to Dorma Huppe, we are excited to bring this new innovation to the UK market.
“By using moveable walls to create flexible space configurations means Police, emergency services and other security firms can provide training in a variety of scenarios. This may be re-enacting a situation in a domestic residence, a row of shops, an office or a street with multiple building entrances. Whatever type of training is being delivered, the moveable walls can be arranged to create a building/room format that’s realistic.”
In a world where demands on security staff and rescue workers are constantly evolving, the ability to adapt quickly to different operational environments is critical.
Emergency services such as police, rescue and other security organisations regularly face challenges that require not only physical capabilities but also tactical skills. Proper preparation in a controlled but variable environment can be crucial to ensuring effective action in an emergency. Dorma Huppe’s movable wall systems with optional special equipment allow rooms to be quickly and efficiently adapted to each training session’s specific requirements.
The moveable wall systems are designed to quickly and easily allow different configurations that maximise the realism and effectiveness of training. This can increase the operational readiness and safety of emergency services, security and rescue teams by preparing them for every challenge.

HBN 00-09 sets out these surface characteristics because unsealed joints are a recognised place for moisture and micro-organisms to collect. A genuinely joint-free edge is designed to address that specific detail.
This is a surface and edge specification, not a clinical claim. Zero-joint technology has not been evaluated or certified by NHS England, and does not claim to reduce infection rates.
Food-service and guest-facing areas are typically inspected under hygiene and housekeeping standards that look closely at surfaces and joints. A seamless, moisture-resistant edge is designed with exactly that kind of scrutiny in mind.
Every one of these sectors shares the same underlying surface problem: a bonded-strip edge is a seam, and a seam is a place where dirt, moisture or wear can concentrate in a way a continuous surface can't. Zero-joint technology addresses that one structural detail across offices, schools, healthcare and hospitality settings alike — one construction detail, one shared weak point removed, four sectors that each care about it for their own reasons.
