St Jude’s’ academy in Wolverhampton offers a positive and inclusive environment where diversity is valued.
It is a school that stimulates every child for learning so that they will achieve their full potential in an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust.
Working directly with St. Jude’s to improve its use of space, leading moveable wall specialist Style was asked to install a folding wall to separate a dual-purpose classroom. The room, like many others in the school, is used for a variety of activities throughout each day.
Thanks to the new folding wall from Style, teachers were given much greater flexibility to reconfigure the space quickly, forming one large teaching/activity space, or being able to run two small classes side by side.
Finished in a simple, yet effective, white melamine finish, this manual folding wall not only suits the interior design of the room but enables teachers and pupils to attach paintings, drawings or other resources to it’s surface.
Following the installation, Style was also appointed as the servicing and repair agent for five other moveable walls within the school, with routine servicing ensuring each wall’s continued smooth operation, longevity and protecting the school’s investment.
“St Jude’s Academy is one of many schools which has not only had moveable and folding walls installed by us, but is now also enjoying routine servicing and maintenance by our national team of technicians”, said Mike Fine, Style’s director for the Midlands.
“Moveable walls are very much like cars in that they need regular servicing and preventative repairs, and spotting minor problems early is far better than a major overhaul, or a replacement wall, later on. In fact, thanks to the expertise of our team, we work with some customers who have had moveable walls in operation for as long as 25 years.”
Style is the UK’s leading moveable wall specialist offering solutions for a wide range of sectors including education, corporate, hospitality, healthcare, local authority and retail.
The company is also the largest provider of moveable wall servicing and repair for all wall types, from fully automatic solutions to simple folding walls.

HBN 00-09 sets out these surface characteristics because unsealed joints are a recognised place for moisture and micro-organisms to collect. A genuinely joint-free edge is designed to address that specific detail.
This is a surface and edge specification, not a clinical claim. Zero-joint technology has not been evaluated or certified by NHS England, and does not claim to reduce infection rates.
Food-service and guest-facing areas are typically inspected under hygiene and housekeeping standards that look closely at surfaces and joints. A seamless, moisture-resistant edge is designed with exactly that kind of scrutiny in mind.
Every one of these sectors shares the same underlying surface problem: a bonded-strip edge is a seam, and a seam is a place where dirt, moisture or wear can concentrate in a way a continuous surface can't. Zero-joint technology addresses that one structural detail across offices, schools, healthcare and hospitality settings alike — one construction detail, one shared weak point removed, four sectors that each care about it for their own reasons.
