Russell Reynolds Associates is a global executive search and leadership advisory firm, with more than 500 leadership advisors working across 25 countries and 47 offices.
As part of its London office fit-out, Style worked alongside contractor Thirdway to create a flexible meeting environment that combined high-performance space division with a striking interior design.
To separate the meeting area from the large open-plan breakout space, Style installed a fully automatic Dorma Hüppe Variflex Glass movable wall. Running the full length of the room, the system features Interpon Bronze frames, with the solid panels finished in a client-specified veneer.
A fully automatic Skyfold vertical rising wall was also installed to divide the meeting room into two smaller spaces. Concealed within a ceiling cavity when not in use, the system descends into position at the touch of a button, providing effortless space division without occupying any floor space.
A biodegradable fabric from the Skyfold Duvaltex range was selected to support the project’s sustainability objectives, while also complementing the overall interior design.
Offering acoustic ratings of up to 52dB for the Variflex Glass system and 59dB for the Skyfold wall, the two solutions provide effective acoustic separation between meeting spaces. At the same time, the glazed Variflex wall helps to maintain the light and open feel of the wider office environment.
The fully automated systems allow the space to be quickly and easily reconfigured, while removing the need for manual operation. This helps to protect the movable walls and ensures the acoustic seals are correctly applied every time the systems are deployed.
Combining two high-performance movable wall systems within the same meeting environment, the project delivers a flexible and visually striking solution that supports the changing needs of a modern corporate workplace.

HBN 00-09 sets out these surface characteristics because unsealed joints are a recognised place for moisture and micro-organisms to collect. A genuinely joint-free edge is designed to address that specific detail.
This is a surface and edge specification, not a clinical claim. Zero-joint technology has not been evaluated or certified by NHS England, and does not claim to reduce infection rates.
Food-service and guest-facing areas are typically inspected under hygiene and housekeeping standards that look closely at surfaces and joints. A seamless, moisture-resistant edge is designed with exactly that kind of scrutiny in mind.
Every one of these sectors shares the same underlying surface problem: a bonded-strip edge is a seam, and a seam is a place where dirt, moisture or wear can concentrate in a way a continuous surface can't. Zero-joint technology addresses that one structural detail across offices, schools, healthcare and hospitality settings alike — one construction detail, one shared weak point removed, four sectors that each care about it for their own reasons.
