Working in partnership with Blue DPM and GR Interiors Ltd, Style Group delivered a Dorma Hüppe Variflex Glass semi-automatic movable wall for Chaucer, creating a flexible meeting environment designed to support the changing needs of a modern office.
The installation allows a single meeting space to be reconfigured quickly and efficiently, creating a more adaptable working environment while maintaining an open, light-filled feel. The glazed design preserves natural light throughout the office, helping to create a bright and welcoming workspace without compromising on flexibility.
Finished with concealed silver anodised aluminium framing, the movable wall integrates seamlessly into the contemporary interior, complementing the surrounding office design. The semi-automatic sealing system enables the wall to be opened and closed with minimal effort, allowing staff to transform the space quickly to suit meetings, presentations and collaborative working.
Combining elegant aesthetics with smooth day-to-day operation, the installation provides Chaucer with a practical solution that is both functional and easy to use. The flexible layout allows the space to adapt as business requirements change, ensuring the office can accommodate a variety of working styles without the need for permanent partitions.
The completed installation has been extremely well received, with Chaucer praising how easy the panels are to operate, making room configuration quick, simple and effortless while delivering the flexibility required for everyday use.

HBN 00-09 sets out these surface characteristics because unsealed joints are a recognised place for moisture and micro-organisms to collect. A genuinely joint-free edge is designed to address that specific detail.
This is a surface and edge specification, not a clinical claim. Zero-joint technology has not been evaluated or certified by NHS England, and does not claim to reduce infection rates.
Food-service and guest-facing areas are typically inspected under hygiene and housekeeping standards that look closely at surfaces and joints. A seamless, moisture-resistant edge is designed with exactly that kind of scrutiny in mind.
Every one of these sectors shares the same underlying surface problem: a bonded-strip edge is a seam, and a seam is a place where dirt, moisture or wear can concentrate in a way a continuous surface can't. Zero-joint technology addresses that one structural detail across offices, schools, healthcare and hospitality settings alike — one construction detail, one shared weak point removed, four sectors that each care about it for their own reasons.
