Style installed four Skyfold Classic vertical rising walls, each offering an impressive 54 dB acoustic rating. Finished in a mix of dry wipe surfaces and Kvadrat fabric, the partitions support both collaborative sessions and a refined interior aesthetic.
To enhance flexibility and acoustic performance, a leading Nottingham-based credit card provider commissioned Style Group to deliver a fully tailored workspace solution designed to adapt to the evolving needs of its teams. The project centred around the installation of a Skyfold Classic vertical rising wall, delivering an impressive 54dB Rw acoustic rating to provide exceptional sound separation between adjoining spaces.
Specified with integrated dry wipe boards to encourage collaboration and idea sharing, alongside premium Kvadrat fabric finishes, the system introduced texture, warmth and a refined aesthetic while maintaining the flexibility expected within modern office environments.
The result was a sophisticated, multifunctional workspace that seamlessly balances privacy and openness. Teams can effortlessly reconfigure the area to accommodate presentations, collaborative workshops, training sessions or private meetings, all within a contemporary setting that reflects the organisation’s professional standards. The installation demonstrates how moveable wall systems can maximise space utilisation while maintaining excellent acoustic separation.
Following the success of the original installation, Style Group was invited back to further enhance the workspace by creating three newly formed meeting rooms. To achieve this, three DORMA Hüppe Variflex operable walls were installed, each delivering a 55dB acoustic rating and specified with matching dry wipe surfaces and Kvadrat finishes to maintain design continuity throughout the office.
This additional phase of works provided increased flexibility and enhanced acoustic performance, enabling multiple meetings to take place simultaneously without disruption. By combining high-performance operable wall systems with thoughtful design detailing, the project continues to deliver adaptable, stylish and highly functional spaces that support both collaboration and confidentiality within the corporate workplace.

HBN 00-09 sets out these surface characteristics because unsealed joints are a recognised place for moisture and micro-organisms to collect. A genuinely joint-free edge is designed to address that specific detail.
This is a surface and edge specification, not a clinical claim. Zero-joint technology has not been evaluated or certified by NHS England, and does not claim to reduce infection rates.
Food-service and guest-facing areas are typically inspected under hygiene and housekeeping standards that look closely at surfaces and joints. A seamless, moisture-resistant edge is designed with exactly that kind of scrutiny in mind.
Every one of these sectors shares the same underlying surface problem: a bonded-strip edge is a seam, and a seam is a place where dirt, moisture or wear can concentrate in a way a continuous surface can't. Zero-joint technology addresses that one structural detail across offices, schools, healthcare and hospitality settings alike — one construction detail, one shared weak point removed, four sectors that each care about it for their own reasons.
