Founded in 1981, Dimensional global firms have a long history of applying academic research to practical investing. Today, the firm offers a full range of equity and fixed income strategies designed to target higher expected returns.
Working with architects, Gensler and contractor, ISG, Style was specified to provide a stylish and practical, acoustic moveable wall to divide the boardroom into two separate meeting rooms or enable it to be opened up into one large meeting area.
A DORMA Moveo operable wall system was deemed the best solution. With 55dB acoustics this semi-automatic moveable wall offers exceptional privacy when closed, allowing concurrent meetings to run either side, completely undisturbed. Finished in a chic fabric, and with a dark timber skirting to add a further touch of class, the final solution is as stylish as it is practical.
“As the exclusive UK partner to DORMA’s range of moveable walls, we are able to offer architects, specifiers, contractors and end-user clients the very best choice of moveable walls from a global, market leading manufacturer,” said Style’s group managing director, Julian Sargent.
“As well as being extremely easy to operate, and with the semi-automatic operation ensuring the acoustic seals are applied perfectly every time the wall is closed, these walls are also highly sustainable.
“A number of years ago, DORMA was the first manufacturer to produce Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certified moveable walls in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN15804 and continue to lead the way in sustainability.”
An EPD communicates the environmental performance of a product. By having an EPD means architects and contractors can participate in tenders involving sustainable building certification procedures.
Talk to us about your acoustic goals — we’ll help you design a solution that sounds as good as it looks.

HBN 00-09 sets out these surface characteristics because unsealed joints are a recognised place for moisture and micro-organisms to collect. A genuinely joint-free edge is designed to address that specific detail.
This is a surface and edge specification, not a clinical claim. Zero-joint technology has not been evaluated or certified by NHS England, and does not claim to reduce infection rates.
Food-service and guest-facing areas are typically inspected under hygiene and housekeeping standards that look closely at surfaces and joints. A seamless, moisture-resistant edge is designed with exactly that kind of scrutiny in mind.
Every one of these sectors shares the same underlying surface problem: a bonded-strip edge is a seam, and a seam is a place where dirt, moisture or wear can concentrate in a way a continuous surface can't. Zero-joint technology addresses that one structural detail across offices, schools, healthcare and hospitality settings alike — one construction detail, one shared weak point removed, four sectors that each care about it for their own reasons.
